Touch Button Layouts View

Store setup > Look and feel > Touch button layouts

What is the view used for?

• This view displays a list of the existing touch button layouts. You can edit and add touch button layouts and button grids here.

• Importing and exporting touch button layouts.
  

  • When the database is upgraded, all the existing touch button layouts, styles and menu headers are given unique IDs and if the same data is being imported into a database that already has these IDs, the user will be asked if this data should be overwritten, copied or if the operation should be cancelled.
  • If Add is selected, the same menu headers, styles and layouts are created again and the text “Copy” is added to the description.

Touch Button Layouts

Tab/Field name	Description
ID	Displays the ID number for the touch button layout.
Description	Displays the description of the touch button layout.
Imported	Displays when and what time the touch button layout was imported.
Edit	Highlight a line and select this button to edit the touch button layout. Opens the Touch Button Layout View.
Add	Select this button to open New Touch Button Layout Dialog.
Delete	Highlight one or more lines and select this button to delete the selected layouts.
Button: Import	Select this button to import touch buttons layout.
Button: Export	Highlight one or more lines and select this button to export the selected layouts touch buttons layouts.
Button: Button grid menus	Highlight a line and select this button to edit the button grid menus for the touch button layout. Opens Edit touch button layout dialog.
